Camp Inspire Application Deadline

Camp Inspire is a chance for women and gender-diverse individuals to explore a career in firefighting first-hand. This free, immersive camp is hosted by regional fire services organizations, including the City of Leduc, to introduce women and gender-diverse individuals to the world of firefighting in a safe, inclusive and empowering environment. Coffee & Conversations: Contracts and Negotiations for Non-Profits

This course provides basic and practical instruction in understanding and negotiating in industry. Participants gain familiarity with key contractual terms and develop professional negotiation skills through exposure to real-life agreements. The course prepares learners to recognize potential contractual risks and advocate effectively for all parties involved in the contracting process. Make-A-Wish Grand Slam Slo-Pitch Tournament

This two-day tournament is open to all skill-levels; whether you’re new to the sport or a total pro, it’s all about having fun and working together to help grant life changing wishes. To hit a home run we’re loading the bases with delicious food and beer gardens, auctions, raffles and 50/50’s, a Family Fun Zone, skills-based competitions like Home Run Derby and a dunk tank! There’s something for everyone! With tons of prizes to be won, and inspiring stories from our brave wish kids, it will be a weekend to remember!

SPN Co-ed National Championship

The SPN Co-ed National Championship brings top slo‑pitch talent from across Canada to Leduc, with the 2026 event hosted at William F. Lede Park from July 31 to August 3. The tournament unites teams for a competitive and community‑focused weekend, supported by coaches meeting, full tournament schedules, and national‑level gameplay. As one of the country’s premier slo‑pitch events, it showcases Leduc’s high‑quality sports facilities and vibrant local spirit, drawing visitors and athletes for an exciting multi‑day championship experience.

Summer in the City

Summer in the City returns on Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at various parks and locations around Leduc! Art Walk 2026

Art Walk is a celebration of creativity and community, bringing together artists, performers, makers, families, and visitors of all ages. Held annually Downtown Leduc, the event highlights local talent, fosters creative connections, and invites everyone to enjoy a day of art, expression, and community togetherness. What to Expect (More Details Coming Soon) While performers, food trucks, activity partners, and the full event schedule are still being finalized, here’s what you can look forward to at Art Walk 2026: Artists & Makers Marketplace Explore stalls featuring original paintings, jewelry, pottery, textiles, photography, sculpture, and much more. Canada Day

Residents are invited to join us for a fun, family-friendly day celebrating Canada Day presented by AMRIK . Activities will be hosted throughout the community, ending with an outdoor community concert at the Leduc Recreation Centre and fireworks display at 11 p.m. We’re excited to announce award-winning Nova Scotia hip-hop icon, Classified , will headline the 2026 Canada Day community concert, presented by KTP Mechanical . Opening the show is The East Pointers . New location for community concert! The Canada Day community concert will be held in the west parking lot at the Leduc Recreation Centre . Parking available in the east lot, please plan accordingly. The walkway on the main floor of the LRC will be open for attendees to get between parking lots through the duration of the event. Canada Day events will take place rain or shine; although, extreme weather conditions may affect scheduled events. National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration & Good Neighbour BBQ

Join us for a family-friendly celebration recognizing National Indigenous Peoples Day. Enjoy an afternoon of culture, connection and community at Fred John’s Park, featuring cultural teachings, performances, and hands-on activities for all ages. The event begins with greetings, a circle and prayer led by Knowledge Keeper Joeanne Swampy and Creating Hope Society. Throughout the day, participants can take part in a guided medicine walk and teachings around the park, or drop into activity stations including face painting, art activities, crafts, a book corner, and vendor booths. At noon, enjoy a free Good Neighbour BBQ while taking part in a light-hearted “Best Dad Joke” competition in honour of Father’s Day. Traditional dancers will perform in the afternoon, with a brief introduction to cultural protocol. This event is presented in partnership with the City of Leduc (FCSS and FRN) , Creating Hope Society , BGC Leduc and the Leduc Arts Foundry . Everyone is welcome!

Tour Alberta for Cancer- Edmonton Training Ride

The Tour Alberta for Cancer is happening at the Leduc Recreation Centre on June 21 for a powerful day of cycling in support of the Alberta Cancer Foundation . This inspiring event brings together riders, volunteers, and community members with a shared commitment to making a difference for Albertans facing cancer. Participants will take on meaningful routes while raising critical funds for research, treatment, and patient care across the province. With an atmosphere fueled by determination, hope, and community spirit, the Tour Alberta for Cancer offers a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Leduc Cats Football Jamboree

This event is a major, one-day youth football event closing the spring season. Featuring teams from the region, it offers a fun, low-stakes, and competitive environment for skill evaluation, featuring multiple food trucks and community.
